Bayern Munich – following a heavy defeat against Leipzig in the Supercup – responded emphatically with a thumping victory away at Werder Bremen (0-4), a match highlighted by Harry Kane’s first goal for the German champions.

In the first half, Bayern started with hunger, and as early as the fourth minute, Leroy Sané combined with Kane for the opener, in a swift move that left Bremen’s defense in disarray.

The home team tried to respond – they even put Bayern in some tight spots during the second half – but then… Kane emerged. The Englishman, assisted by Davies on the left, eliminated a defender and, facing Pavlenka, made no mistake.

Towards the end, Bayern extended the lead, with Sané and Mathys Tel shining. Sané, firstly, concluded a brilliant team move from Bayern, and later, Tel’s precise and purposeful strike left Bremen’s goalkeeper with no chance.
