Inter started the new season on the right foot this Saturday with a home victory against Monza (2-0) in the opening match of Serie A. On a night of debut for Marcus Thuram and Marko Arnautovic, the standout player of the match was Lautaro Martínez, who scored both goals.
The Argentine forward broke the deadlock just eight minutes into the game and sealed the final result in the middle of the second half, at the 76th minute.
A mention should go to the Portuguese duo, formed by Pedro Pereira and Dany Mota, who entered the game in the second half for Monza.
Tomorrow, Sunday, it’s AC Milan’s turn, with Rafael Leão, and AS Roma, with José Mourinho, to take action against Bologna and Salernitana, respectively.
